DEBORAH IWANYSHYN: My unique approach to family law now is to take care of your entire person. You are not just a case when you come to this office.

DEBORAH IWANYSHYN: Compassionate, number one. And number two, all we do is family law. As a CPA I did auditing and then I became accredited as a business appraiser. So I know how to look at general ledgers, things like that.

DEBORAH IWANYSHYN: The best outcome is if the parties feel that they've been treated fairly.

DEBORAH IWANYSHYN: You have a family. Usually there are kids involved. So you have lifetimes. And if the goal is to simply annihilated the other side, they're going to be bitter for the rest of their life. So you're not going to win. You're going to ultimately lose. And the children generally pay for that.
Mostly their feelings at point in time and then we slowly get into the numbers. I take a very, very personal approach because it was extremely difficult for me to go through a divorce with an eight-year-old and a twelve-year-old and my son was diagnosed with diabetes.
