DEBRAH IWANYSHYN: Since 1985, I've handled all types of child custody cases. I've represented mothers, fathers, grandparents, other relatives and even third parties in custody cases. I know firsthand the pain that's involved, having been married for 17 years and then divorcing when my children were 8 and 12.

DEBRAH IWANYSHYN: People shouldn't make the assumption that if one parent has been a stay at home parent that the working parent is only entitled to limited custody, such as every other weekend and a few hours during the week, because that's not necessarily the case.

DEBRAH IWANYSHYN: In all of my custody cases it's my focus to put the best interests of the child first.
